Why Make Door Units Removable?

Other fiberglass Hot Rod Body Manufactures install door components in the door jamb prior to gluing the door jambs to the outer panel. This method requires the removal of the components through an access hole in the jamb. This can prove to be both a lengthy process and a frustrating one  as you can not always see inside the door cavity.

Our design allows for easy removal of the complete door unit assembly. Once removed you  can add, service or change components as needed. Removal also allows easy access to paint the door jamb area.
